With the Calypso Cricket Festival now under two weeks away, the Sporting Chance team feels it’s the perfect time to reflect on the 23 year long journey of the initiative and also to acknowledge and appreciate each and every one of the stakeholders involved in this year’s edition.
Taquanta Investments are on board for a second year in succession, after having successfully partnered with Sporting Chance last year. Taquanta has enthusiastically given its full backing and support of the Calypso Cricket Festival and for that we are extremely grateful.
The Sporting Chance team is proud to be working hand-in-hand with Taquanta, their contribution and passion for the concept is one of the reasons we are able to bring this dynamic project to fruition this year. The Taquanta team has re-iterated that their support of the programme goes beyond financial assistance and is more about being directly and hands on involved and also being able to feel the effects of this rewarding and fulfilling experience.
We continuously highlight our beliefs, as an organisation, to make a difference in the lives of South Africa’s children and the truth is we need to continue working with other stakeholders who also have similar aims and objectives. Organisations such as Taquanta provide us with the tools that we desperately seek to make a mark and reach our most disadvantaged and needy communities.
