As the winter rains abate and the sun comes out for longer stretches at a time, so too do the Sporting Chance Spring Clinics make an appearance, bringing with them the same promise a new season holds. For the young sports enthusiasts the clinics present an opportunity to work on their skills, which they are able to put to practice before the year ends.
In keeping with the freshness of spring, the Holiday Clinics see the return of cricket coaching with the school season set to get underway in the last quarter of the year. The always popular hockey will see the young enthusiasts bring out their sticks, shin pads and gum guards for practice games and drills, while soccer sees them learn about throw-ins, goal-kicks and professional fouls.
Kenridge Primary School, the Constantia Sports Complex as well as Kelvin Grove Country Club will be bustling with activity. Here’s to a great week.
