What started as a simple thought, an idea, to go where we had yet dared to go, finally came to life with the launch of the first Camps Bay summer coaching clinics this week.
Although not a launch in the true sense of the word – no bubbly was brought out, no cheering and loud music, and certainly no speeches were heard at Camps Bay High School – to us, and our daily planners, it was a launch and a more than small victory on the road to coaching success!
Of course the Camps Bay coaching clinics come with their own idiosyncrasies – new parents with a different set of expectations, new children with their own quirks and fancies, maybe a new set of problems, and of course THAT wind (as we found out on the first day – the rest of the city has wind, the Atlantic Seaboard has howlers).
We’re ecstatic at connecting with the Camps Bay community. This could not have come at a better time, with Sporting Chance looking at making 2013 an even better year. We have seen how these coaching clinics provide a springboard for possible success in the sporting arena; we hope this will be the case for the scenic Camps Bay community.
Thanks to Flip File, Gunn and Moore, HiTec South Africa, Kauai South Africa, Sportsmans Warehouse and Supersport Let’s Play for supporting our venture into Camps Bay coaching.
