In the build up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup TM, children from impoverished areas around the country who participate in both the Street Soccer project and the accompanying ‘Health of the Nation’ sessions, will each receive these health products including soap, tooth paste, tooth brush and a face cloth. These will be distributed to the children on a weekly basis during the KIA STREET SOCCER LEAGUE!
Brad Bing, Managing Director of Sporting Chance was overwhel

“With a core focus on health education, fitness and skill development, it is an absolute delight to have Dis-Chem and the Dis-Chem Foundation on board with us, as their contribution ties in directly with the life skill values of this project. The sponsors and partners who have so far come onboard with us in the Street S
occer Project has been exceptional, and with products of this magnitude, we will definitely see a positive impact on each participant in this project,” commented Bing.
“The Dis-Chem Foundation is delighted to be part of this national health initiative; we hope that all the kids take home some valuable information on their own health.” say’s Lynette Saltzman founder of the Dis-Chem Foundation.
