With the dawn of a new year comes a renewed sense of aspiration and ambition. People create overwhelming lists of resolutions and targets: some achievable by difficulty and others very unrealistic and overly ambitious. The New Year for us here at Sporting Chance, means a chance to reflect on our 23-year long journey and an opportunity to brainstorm ideas on how to breathe new life into our ever-challenging programmes, by taking on new ideas and/ concepts and developing them into dynamic and active initiatives.
Our primary passion is providing the children of South Africa with a Sporting Chance. We have been fortunate over the duration of our existence with our collaborative efforts and we’ve also gained the support of numerous organisations that willingly became a part of our structure and assisted with bringing our vision to fruition.
In 2014 we hope to be able to continue changing the lives of many children by using sport as a medium. We urge the various existing organisations in South Africa to join this life-changing cause that we have embarked on for the past 23 years, and to assist us in fulfilling our promise of giving children a Sporting Chance as well playing a crucial role in unearthing new talent.
