The KIA Street Soccer Road Shows movement continued its march through the mining towns of the Free State with a visit to Allanridge. It was not gold we found there however, as we were greeted by the enthusiastic Daniel Matsau.
A former football player at Kaizer Chiefs, Bloemfontein Celtic, Supersport United and Mpumalanga Black Aces, Matsau has taken on new challenges in the football world, as he looks to develop football in his local community. One of these challenges is working with SAFA Lejweleputswa as Sporting Chance partners with them to bring football development to the Free State.
The road show itself was a great one, with a full house of players and coaches present, and as always, with an interested community not too far behind.
It may not have been gold we found, but Matsau’s involvement is sure to prove precious to the community!
