KIA’S POWER TO SURPRISE, THREE YEARS LATER

With all eyes looking forward to Brazil 2014 we would be forgiven for forgetting about the 2010 Soccer World Cup. Yet for Sporting Chance it is near impossible to do so, as we continue the countdown to the official launch of this year’s KIA Street Soccer programme.

Started as part of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Ticket Fund Legacy, it keeps growing.  Where other initiatives floundered only months after the Soccer World Cup, KIA’s Legacy Trust project has instead flourished, gaining momentum with each passing year. Now in its fourth edition, it has remained innovative, connecting with people on the ground, showing that KIA South Africa is not just about offering “confidence and reassurance” on the road, but that they also care about the man on the street.

This is also why Road Safety lessons are an integral part of the KIA Street Soccer Road Shows.  In a country with a high percentage of pedestrian-related road deaths, these lessons are essential for our young ones.

Thanks to KIA South Africa for entrusting us with the work of educating our nation and giving them a sporting chance.
