By all weather forecasts the 7th Kellogg’s Health of the Nation 50-Hour Sports Challenge weekend was certain to be a scorcher, with temperatures soaring to the mid-30s. Sure enough, we were enveloped by heat that would not abate as the weekend wore on. Even with the rumble of thunder in the distance, the high temperatures persisted.
Thanks to Nomadik Stretch Tents, there was welcome respite from the sun and heat, as they erected one of their striking stretch tents for the duration of the Challenge. The tent was even suited to the colours of the weekend – matching the red of Sporting Chance, Kellogg’s and Virgin Active – a sure sign that some associations are written in the stars before their time.
For those not involved in the 50-Hour action, or those taking a breather, the tent was a welcome addition to the weekend’s fun, and even 7th Kellogg’s Health of the Nation 50-Hour Sports Challenge ambassadors Letshego Moshoeu and Gugu Zulu were seen enjoying time out under the shade.
Thanks to Nomadik Stretch Tents for offering the best solution on a hot Johannesburg weekend.
