The 7th Kellogg’s Health of the Nation 50-Hour Sports Challenge aims to raise awareness about the importance of physical activity in a child’s life. In combination with that, it looks to introduce thousands of children to the benefits of physical activity and various sporting codes as they gather at the Western Cape Sport School in Kuils River from the 15th to the 17th February.
By partnering with Virgin Active, we work with the country’s leading health and fitness club to ensure that, for a weekend, three thousand children have specialised sessions to get them on the right track in the pursuit of fitness. Always a popular feature with the kids, the Virgin Active Health Track and activities offer a professional service to the learners – showing that both Sporting Chance and Virgin Active want the best for the country’s youngsters! As seen in Johannesburg in January, and as in previous years, the involvement of the Virgin Active team adds tremendous value to the weekend’s challenge.
Who knows…maybe in a weekend we can plant the seed to live happily, ever active as we press on towards a healthy nation?
Thanks to Virgin Active for the continued support as we promote healthy living to our young ones!
