True to their slogan – People Caring for People – Town Lodge have gone the extra mile to support the development of sport in South Africa.
As we endeavour to provide the children of South Africa with a Sporting Chance, much travelling is done to as many “corners” of the country as possible. There is much logistical work that goes into it – accommodation, flights, car hire – all year round, as we shift focus from one project to the next.
Town Lodge, recognising this, offered us their magnificent facilities. Spacious rooms, their boardrooms, use of the pool area, a sumptuous breakfast, and great service and hospitality from dedicated staff, all this in central locations in major and not-so-major cities. They are living their slogan, “people caring for people”, and helping to make things easier for us as we work in sport development.
With the group expanding to Kenya, and to Botswana soon, this may well be the start of the Sporting Chance foray into Africa!
