Despite some wetter weather today, week one of the coaching clinics ended off excellently with what has been dubbed “Fun day Friday”.
Mini matches and fun games were the order of the day in between the coaches recapping the skills learnt and the drills perfected over the week.
The rain showers came in patches and despite some downpours the players were not keen to move indoors and wanted to enjoy slipping and sliding, particularly the little rugby players – nothing better than scoring a try on the wet grass they exclaimed.
The various hockey clinics played host to ‘the TK Hockey World Cup’ competition, which featured players being divided into various countries and then dressing up in their team colours, this is always a popular way to bring the clinics to a close and today proved no different.
All clinics concluded with a prize giving and thanks to all involved, with awesome back packs from Hi-Tec being given out as spot prizes and everyone going home with a Flip File, certificate and Easter egg.
