Mandela Day has come and gone and will soon be a memory, best remembered by the photos capturing the day. In a few days Volunteer Month draws to an end. Yet so much more than the memories were captured last week, and during this month. Words were spoken and pledges were made as we realised the need for change in OUR country.
Through KIA Street Soccer Sporting Chance continues to reach out to our communities. This is one of the ways we hope to make a change in the country. But it is only one way. There is much more that can be done…by all of us.
The 67 minutes must continue. The principles of Volunteer Month must be a part of our daily living. Change starts with each of us. It’s my 67 minutes, plus your 67 minutes, plus our 67 minutes over and over and over.
Thanks to our sponsors and partners Kia Motors, Foodzone, Supersport Let’s Play, Dawn Wing Global Express, Mille, Good Hope FM, ProNutro; our PSL partners Ajax Cape Town, Amazulu, Bloemfontein Celtic and Orlando Pirates; as well as the provincial Departments of Health for the continued support.
